Our Story - From Tech
to Trusted Neighbor


My name is Jeff Ford, and my story with Wendell Taylor’s Garage started back in 2006 when I came on as a technician, just a guy who loved fixing cars and helping people. The shop was sold to one of my mentors around 2010, someone who really showed me what it meant to care about both the work and the people.

When he passed away in 2015, I knew I couldn’t let this place become just another generic repair shop. So in 2018, I purchased Wendell Taylor’s Garage from his widow, and we’ve been building something special ever since.

This isn’t just a business to me. It’s about taking care of our Stratford community, one family at a time. When you bring your car here, you’re not just another ticket number. You’re our neighbor, and we genuinely care about getting you safely to soccer practice, that family vacation, or just your daily routine.
